Nana’s Birthday Celebration

This suppose to be a due post last month. 20th of January is our maknae Nana’s 19th birthday. We also having our basic communication paper on the same day. It’s pity for her having exam on birthday and so we planned to give her a birthday surprise after the paper. Agnes finally could came and met us this time since she left last semester. Thanks for Agnes’ mum for fetching us too. So today is birthday celebration + sisters gathering + food hunting day! Wait, don’t forget EOS haven’t over yet, just relieved our stress with food therapy first for some motivation to move on!

CNY-Decor @ Pavilion KL

Bonjour! Yes, I’m back here with an exciting holiday mood! Our 3 weeks EOS had finally came to the end last week, and it’s time to enjoy my holiday first before the result released. Trying hard not to think about the results, just let me pass the exam and I’ll be satisfied. Throwback to the last day of exam, what happened after that? You know we girls love to enjoy ourselves after the stressful exam month. So we decided to go Pavilion straight after the last paper as we know that Pavilion as one of the major shopping mall in the heart of Kuala Lumpur always adorned itself in beautiful festival decorations. How could I miss out the Chinese New Year decoration this year? In the blink of an eye, CNY is coming in less than one week time from now, it’s always my favourite festival since I was a kid. I love the bustling and lively pre-cny atmosphere especially with the decoration in shopping malls with different themes according to Chinese Zodiac every new year.

Since Fahrenheit is just nearby Pavilion, we went there for some window shopping before going to Pavilion. Although the decoration here is not as grand at Pavilion, but you can definitely see the efforts the mall put in to have these little cute goats with coat on it. There is also a corridor which is made of cherry blossom at the entrance of shopping mall.

Hello 2015 !

Happy 2015 everyone ! Where did the time go ? Can’t believe I’m turning into adult this year, although in my mind still thinking I’m young. Just finished our epidemiology presentation today, although we had went through lots of presentations since semester 1 but this is actually the first time individual presentation for me and presented for something that I was not confidence at some more. I don’t know this is a good or sad thing for me as my overall feedback given was not really good because I did a super silly mistake in my presentation. Well, whole week of sleepless nights because of this assignment, if this is what the result I got for my efforts, okay I’ll just accept it, I’m already so bored to think about it anymore, just let me out of this situation faster. Not much expectation, I just simply hope that I could pass this module, sincerely.      

Anyway let go about that, at the new chapter of each new year I like to reflect on the ups and downs of the year before and set my hopes and goals for the year to come. 2014 was a very pleasant year for me, especially my those colourful days of uni life in IMU. Flashing back the memories and events that I’ve been through this past year, I think it was really a great year for my personal growth. In 2014, I’m slowly realising what’s most important to me, and slowly working towards the dream of living every single day with meaning.

In this post, I would like to share some events that are meaningful and memorable to me as a quick review in this past year …

Tokyo, Japan Trip 10.0

Hi there ! Just done the PBL and a last report for this semester today, but we still have 2 more presentations to go in this two weeks before the final exams, stress level is increasing day by day gradually. Hope I still can survive after all these hectic weeks. Well, this gonna be my last post of this trip after posting for about 3 months finally. Should end this early since I have drag it for such a long time. This should be quite a short post since not much photos were taken on the last day.

 

# DAY 10 #

Today is the last day of spending in Tokyo after more than a week of travelling. Our flight is in the evening so there’s still some time for us to explore and shopping in Asakusa before heading to the airport. 

Tokyo, Japan Trip 9.0

Happy new year sweeties ! Godness, it’s already 2015 now, can’t imagine I’m unofficially turning 21 this year … Where did my past 20 years go ? So how did you celebrated for the new year countdown ? For me, I didn’t celebrate at all, I was countdown-ing with that frustrated epidemiology assignment. I guess most of us were doing the same thing, what a pathetic student life. So, how is your planning and resolution for this brand new year ? For me, I just hope that both my studies and life would be better and hopefully a peaceful year in 2015 for everyone of  us. 

 

# DAY 9 #

Coming to day 9, this will also be my second last post of this trip. Continuing from yesterday, today we are going to discover further in Tokyo via Japan-rail. The place we are going to leave our footprints at are Ueno (上野) and Harajuku (原宿) which are the famous town in Tokyo. It’s a good whether today, can be consider as the hottest sunny day throughout these days, although is really hot and tiring but sunny weather actually reflect a different effect of nature into my camera lens compared to a cloudy day. Can’t wait more for it, let’s begin our rail travel in Tokyo now !
